School Council

At ysgol Bro Llifon, years 2-6 classes will have a Class Council and at the start of every school year, a vote is held where every Class Council elects two representatives on the School Council.

The Class and School Councils provide pupils with an opportunity to express an opinion and work in partnership with Staff and Governors and the community to improve and develop the school for everybody's benefit.

These are the School Council’s priorities this year -
Priority 1: To ensure we can play on the school’s new playing field after school and at break times on Friday.
Priority 2: Discuss the need for pets in the school to teach children how to take care of them.
Priority 3: Games on the schoolyard, line markings on the yard, more playtime equipment. Improve the outdoor learning areas.
Priority 4: Does the use of perfect pink and thinking yellow at school when marking improve our work?
Priority 5: Ensure more frequent use of the children’s kitchen for cookery sessions.
Priority 6: Arrange more school outings.
